Welcome to Mountain View Elementary School!  Mountain View believes all learners can reach individual success through critical thinking and collaboration. Mustangs R.E.A.C.H. for success with Respect, Effort, Attitude, Cooperation, and Honesty.

Student achievement is attributed to the partnerships and the relationships we build within our school community. It truly does take a village! Team Mountain View greatly appreciates the support parents/guardians provide for children both at home and at school to help them meet their goals.

Please make sure to check the M.V. Bulletin for school updates. The newsletter is posted on our website and will also be emailed and texted. Please feel free to contact the Mountain View office if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

To all of my fellow Mustangs, let’s make it a great year!

    Rria Cruz-Soto, Principal

    Meet the Staff

Prek- 3rd students will be dismissed to their caregivers from the classrooms or assigned locations. The primary parking lot will not be open during dismissal. Caregivers will need to park and walk to the assigned location. As a courtesy to Mountain View Families, Claremont Presbyterian Church allows parents of children attending Mountain View Elementary School to park in their parking lot for drop-off and pick-up of children.

4th, 5th, and 6th grades: may be picked up from the pick-up lane.

Safety First!  We request that all drivers comply with these safety policies:

    1. Follow the directional arrows.
    2. Drive slowly and carefully, watching out for children and pedestrians.
    3. Walk to and from campus using only sidewalks and crosswalk – DO NOT walk through or across the Mountain View parking lot.
    4. Dispose of trash in the trash can.
    5. Supervise children at all times.

    Growth Mindset

Rooting BrainHere at Mountain View we are teaching our students to have a "growth mindset." That is, their learning strengths and abilities are not "fixed," but can be developed or "grown" with time and effort. To learn more about Growth Mindset, click here to view the presentation from our Growth Mindset Parent Night.
